Use our stove to enjoy warmth and comfort in your lightweight hot tent.
Main features of the Lite Outdoors Hot Tent Wood Stove –
- Lightweight and Compact: This stove is exceptionally lightweight and easily comes apart, making it a breeze to slip into your backpack. Say goodbye to the days of wrestling with bulky gear – now you can take your tent stove anywhere, effortlessly.
- Effortless Setup: Spend more time enjoying the great outdoors, and less time struggling with complex gear. Our stove is designed for easy assembly – no tools are needed.
- Total Control: an adjustable air vent paired with a titanium pipe damper results in absolute control over heat output and burn time.
- Optional Baffle: A feature that sets us above the competition, a baffle increases efficiency and extends burn times. More heat, less wood, and decreased sparks out of the stove pipe make this a worthwhile add-on.
- Durability and Longevity: Crafted from titanium, the Large stove is built to withstand the challenges of outdoor life. Titanium is known for its lightweight properties and is also extremely resistant to high temperatures. Our wood stoves will not degrade over time due to heat like similar stoves made from steel.
- Everything Included: Out of the box you will receive everything you need to start your first burn. The stove body, stove pipe, and all hardware needed are included with your purchase.
The Lite Outdoors Large Tent Stove – The Best, Most Versatile Hot Tent Wood Stove
Formerly known as the 18″ standard stove, the Lite Outdoors Large Titanium Wood Stove is by far our most popular version. It is the ideal size for most 2 man and 3 man (with stove) hot tents on the market. When a customer asks which stove we recommend for their tent, 9 times out of 10, this is the stove we will recommend. Have a larger tent? Be sure to check out our other Portable Wood Stoves.

At a fraction of the price this stove is ultralight, easy to set up take down and works great. I used mine on long cold rainy days in Bow season in Colorado and even into Snowy Third Rifle season. Every detail is thought out and it will keep you warm all day/night. This stove allowed me to stay and hunt in comfort even when mother nature turned. It is ultralite and easy to carry. The design is tough and i used it 5 times this season with not one issue.

I have used the stove one time this winter. The stove was easy to put together. It kept the tent very warm. I like the fact that it is so versatile. You can use it backpacking or next to vehicle camping. I can’t wait to get out again.

For the price, I don’t think you can beat this lightweight stove. I’m not able to compare it to any of its competitors on the market and I’ve only had a few fires in it. But the set up is reasonably easy under adverse conditions and heat output, ventilation/damping and ease of starting/feeding the fire are all good.
It will take the weight of a two litre water pot but I haven’t tested the performance concerning boil times. Melting snow on it would be no problem at all. All of these smaller stoves will require stoking every half hour or more to keep you warm.
There are a couple areas of concern going forward though… Extremely hot fires do tend to subtly warp the stainless steel plates at the ends, changing the airtight qualities of the stove as well as future ease of setup. Secondly, the titanium belly already shows some distortion and may have to be replaced at some point.
Any criticisms that I have are offset by the price-point. You could pay twice as much for a similar product. I’m happy that I went this route and look forward to getting more use out of it.

SO far after a couple of burns i am excited by the stove. I was going to make my own and this stove has all the features i wanted plus i love the ingenius removeable but sturdy legs. The adjustable vent and damper allow you to fine tune the burn to a hum. The titanium is pretty thin and creases and dents but is super light and the strongest option. The titanium turns blue with heat. Its also razor sharp and i have a bandaid to prove it. But if it was heavier gauge i dont think the design would work. Big hands would have trouble loading or stoking the fire and i may to include some lightweight tongs plus the leather gloves in my kit. But it takes down in a couple minutes to a tiny light package and will make my fall and winter hunts a lot more enjoyable. Great service in shipping and great price. Although this is my first lightweight stove i like the design best of what ive seen.

I am living in the UK but have family in BC. They told me about this stove and got me hooked. I have used my 18″ stove 3 times now. I am extremely happy with its durability and light weight construction. I have been seeking a light but versatile wood burning stove for some time. This stove has made my dreams come true. Fits snuggly into by backpack leaving enough room for all my other gear. Excellent value for money and well worth the wait which was 10 days max. to the UK aswell. I have recommended these stoves to many of my friends in the bushcraft/wild camping scene. Lots of positive responses. A 5 star service and fast responsive replies to customer enquires. Fantastic.

I have had my stove for three years. (I think) I have loved mine. Sets up quick and radiates heat quickly. I have another stove that I use when travelling by car. Its steel and larger than my ti stove. My little ti stove puts out way more heat and more quickly than my steel one. As soon as you have a flame inside my ti stove is putting out heat. One thing I think I would do different if I bought another would be to do the first burn in the stove outside (of course) without the stove pipe on. When I did mine the weight of the chimney concaved mine slightly. Other than that there is nothing else to worry about.

I can’t say enough good things about this stove and the company. I purchased my original stove several years ago and was very happy with it. Since purchasing my stove a new version came out. I contacted Brennen and he said he would send me a few new parts to upgrade the stove to the newer design. I just returned from a week in the Colorado backcountry hunting elk and the new stove worked like a champ. The rods for holding the whole thing together are a huge improvement over the cables and turnbuckles in the previous version (although, I never really had a problem with the old design). The much larger door was my favorite improvement because you can add larger logs than the previous stove. Absolutely no complaints at all. If you’re looking for a great stove and a company that stands behind their products, this is the place. Thanks Brennen!

After doing a substantial amount of research on light weight, packable stoves I settled on the Lite Outdoors 18″ stove. Brennen’s willingness to spend time answering all of my many questions on more than one occasion sealed the deal. Even though Brennen was about to leave on a scouting trip for an upcoming hunt he somehow managed to get my stove to me within a week.
On to the stove. After watching Brennen’s videos a couple of times I felt more than ready to attempt assembling my stove. As recommended in the video I enlisted a couple of family members to assist with the first rolling of the pipe. Moving cautiously we completed that task without incident. I then assembled the stove body complete with the baffle. The first burn was done without the pipe. After the stove cooled the pipe was installed and the stove was fired up again. I allowed the stove to burn out after getting a good fire going a couple of times. This was all done at home.
A couple of days later the stove and my newly purchased Seek Outside Cimarron were getting their first test in the mountains of central Idaho. The combo worked great. The stove burned great and with the temperature being above freezing the stove did not require a lot of wood as the damper was only slightly open. Prior to turning in for the night I shut it completely down. I was surprised to find coals in the stove in the morning!
Fast forward to it’s second trip. Once again I was completely happy with both the stove and the tent.
Each time I have set this stove up it has been even easier than the previous time. The last time was at night, by myself on a solo trip.
I highly recommend this product for its performance, simplicity, apparent durability and Brennen’s outstanding customer service and support!

I think that these are awesome stoves for backpacking because of the inherent properties of titanium (lightweight and great heat transfer). I abused on mine, I think, because after a couple of days of using it last year, I crinkled the foil body on it pretty badly, but was able to straighten it out. I should probably purchase a new piece of titanium and fix the body. Not sure this, or any, titanium stove is designed for the hard use I put to it – I don’t know.
Still, I intend to use it in the future, but probably at lower stove temperatures and smaller amounts of fuel.

Just got back from my first ever hot tent back country trip in the snow. I ordered the Liteoutdoors 18″ stove, chimney, and spark arrestor and it arrived very quickly. I decided on this product because of #1: weight, and #2: cost. I put it together with no problems and did a first burn in the back yard. After the first burn everything assembles easier. I was able to keep my tent warm and toasty through night with this stove. The more I use it the better I get at using it and controlling the heat. I filled it up with wood at bed time, woke up a couple hours later and still had a few coals to get it going again, and in no time it was 70 degrees in my tent again with single digit temps outside. Fell asleep again and woke up around 3 and did it again, when I finally woke up around 4 hours later the coals were out so I started a new fire with the wood I staged and once again I was warming my toes and making hot coffee. This stove gives me the ability to get warm, dry, and keep hiking all winter long even in snow storms. I am planning my next trip up north and am very confident with the ability of this stove. I found it easier and faster to cook on my jetboil. You will get dings, dents, and some warping on the stove and pipe, but not too big of a deal if you learn how to burn it correctly.

Excellent service, easy to contact, prompt and a pleasure to talk to. I used this stove to -25C last winter on a bison hunt we were out for 4 days, I have a 4 person ( two with stove and some gear) 4 season dome tent. Used stove jacks from Brennen
the stove jacks went in well and worked well. Totally recommend if you are wanting to put the stove in their tent or a do it yourself which I did. I have a floor in my tent and needed to build a hearth. Got about 3-4 hours per burn. Very light and I think it will hold up well. I bought this stove because on a bison hunt we can experience -30C- -40C with out warning, I don’t recommend going out in these temperatures on purpose with minimal gear like this, how ever I did buy this stove so if we got caught out in the weather we would be comfortable. This stove will be part of my kit.
Thanks hope this is helpful. PS Bison-4-Dean-0 (Cost priceless)

I recently purchased the 18” stove with the baffle and the Plateau 5 tent. I have used the stove 1/2 dozen extended times with my smaller 2 man hot tent. I have set it up both in the traditional way without the baffle, and the suggested setup with baffle and stove pipe in the front location for optimum burn time. It is very efficient for such a compact titanium stove. I also purchased the 6 foot stove pipe, and to have the versatility to use this stove with both sized tents, is such a bonus. Highly recommend with baffle and stove pipe in the front portion of stove to extend burn time. So compact and easy to winter camp with. The customer service from Brennen was excellent. He returned my emails both times with a phone call and answered all my questions. Rarity to get customer service of this nature nowadays, and his personal knowledge and experience with the stove and tent, was invaluable. So happy to support a small Canadian based company. Absolutely no regrets purchasing this stove/tent combo. Highly recommend both products.

Great stove. Sets up easy and burns hot. The spring tension rods are a great upgrade. My only complaint is the door handle gets too hot to touch. A cable ring would fix this easily. There is even a hole already.

Amazing stove. Just set it up and burned it in for the first time with the baffle installed. Set-up was easy and I rolled the pipe out by myself with zero issues. I will be installing a cable ring on the door latch. This stove put off great heat. Zero issues with smoke coming out anywhere else except out the top of the pipe. Brennan and his customer service were top notch. Answered all questions and always got back to me quickly before I made my purchase. The ability to burn longer pieces of wood in this particular stove are also a big positive for me. Packs down to nothing. Saving up the funds to purchase the LiteOutdoors Plateau 5 Tipi. Cannot wait to bring this into the backcountry on our next elk hunt in Colorado and Moose hunt up in Alaska in the near future.
